I just bought the new ATM mini and I am trying to get it running urgently for an event I have at the weekend.
I downloaded the latest ATEM software for Mac and plugged the device into my internet switch (same on as my laptop). When I run the ATEM Setup, the device is recognised and it shows it's plugged into the ethernet. When I try and click on either of the two buttons (about and setup I think) I just get a message:
Control Panel Compatibilty: Includes ATEM Software Control Panel. Also compatible with ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel and ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Panel. Control Panel Included: ATEM Software Control Panel included free for Mac 10.14 Mojave, Mac 10.15 Catalina or later and Windows 10 64 bit only. Software: Software Updates. ATEM Software Control features an interface that’s been specifically designed for speed and accuracy. It features separate pages that make it easy to find the controls you need for each of the switchers major functions such as control, audio, cameras, macros, media and deck control. Ethernet or USB-C used for updating the software. Control Panel Compatibilty. Includes ATEM Software Control Panel. Also compatible with ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel and ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Panel. Control Panel Included. ATEM Software Control Panel included free for Mac 10.14 Mojave, Mac 10.15 Catalina or later and Windows 10 64 bit only. The Mac Pro's ATEM Software Control cannot see the switcher by ethernet connection. The ATEM setup utility sees the switcher via USB connection and apparently an assigned IP address. When I check Networking in Mac, I see the ethernet has a self-assigned address (169.254.58.35). ATEM Software Control Panel included free for Mac 10.13 High Sierra, Mac 10.14 Mojave or later and Windows 10. Software: Software Updates: Using USB or Ethernet connection directly connected to Mac OS X or Windows computers. Includes ATEM Switcher Utility. Configuration: Set via ATEM Software Control Panel, excluding ATEM chassis IP address.
Failed to connect. Please check your network connection.
I have tried different cat6 cables and switched the device on and off.
Not a good start
