Hi everyone.Thank you for stropping by!! So this next post is one that i got very excited about! Most people who know me will know how much I love my MAC studio Fix and have never been able to find anything quite like it for its coverage and long last wear. It is possibly the best foundation I have ever bought. So I had done some research the last few days to see if there was any such thing as a MAC studio fix dupe and a few websites brought me to the L'Oreal true match foundation. I have never tried this foundation nor had i ever really intended to do so as I never really bought much stuff from L'Oreal!! So I decided to go out and get the True Match and see for myself if it was true or not!! I was super happy with the results!!! I tried to take the pictures in the best lighting I could get so apologies for the pictures but do know that they both are so similar and I will post better pictures when the light is better :) I applied the MAC studio fix first which can be seen in the first and middle picture below.

I then took off that make up and applied the True Match. I always find with Mac studio fix you need to ensure your face is so well moisturized if you have dry skin as the foundation itself is quite thick and dry and doesn't spread as well if your skin is not well primed and moisturized. However with the True Match the first thing I noticed was how well it spread it was more liquidy/runny and was great for my skin type. The true match is probably a shade lighter than the Mac one but that is my fault I don't think I matched the shades up as well as I should have, but I have noticed how the True Match one actually suits my skin tone better and if I am to buy MAC again I will need to go a shade or 2 lighter again. But I think I'm going to stick with True Match for now. The coverage is so good, medium to full. It just sits so lightly on your face you wouldn't even know you were wearing make-up. There's no smell off the True Match either whereas there is a strong smell from the MAC I personally don't mind the smell but I know a few people who do not like it. Overall I am so happy with the L'Oreal True Match!!! I do still have a soft spot for the MAC studio fix too though!!
The MAC foundation is 30 euro and you have to buy the pump for an extra 5 euro so altogether that's 35 Euro and it can be bought at Brown Thomas, BT2 or online, So the L'Oreal foundation is only 14.99 it comes with a pump and it can be bought at any L'Oreal stand nationwide in pharmacies, supermarkets, online etc. I bought this one at Ryan's Pharmacy in Edenderry. They have a wide range of L'Oreal items to choose from.So I am very happy with this Dupe and I think its amazing the price difference!! You can have the MAC look without all the expense :) hope you all enjoyed this post :)

If you read my post about the L'Oreal True Match Powder and Blush on clearance at Target, you will know that I wasn't very impressed with the color pay-off. I picked up anther L'Oreal True Match Powder and Blush set in a darker color (for when I actually get a little tan).
A few things that I didn't mention in my last post...
- The blush in the Powder and Blush set is not full size. The full size is .21oz/6g. This blush is only .11oz/3.4g.
- The cost of the full size blush ranges between $8.99-$10.99, depending on where you buy it.
The blush included with the L'Oreal True Match powder in Natural Buff N3 is the L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Blush in Innocent Flush N3-4. I can't help but think the name is a NARS Orgasm reference... what do you think?
As I mentioned in my original post, the bottom opens to reveal a brush. This sample size blush does not have a mirror, but since the full size blush is about the same size as the powder, it might have a mirror.
I wanted to compare this blush to the shade that I originally bought.
Precious Peach coordinates with True Match shades Soft Ivory N1 (the powder from my original post) and Classic Ivory N2.

I had to swatch Precious Peach over and over again to build up the color so it would be visible. Innocent Flush is slightly more pigmented, but I still found I had to build it up on my cheeks to make it noticeable. I like for the color to be a bit more noticeable, and these blushes provide a very natural, very light flush.
Once I built up Innocent Flush, I really liked the color on my cheeks!
Here are the swatches next to each other. Precious Peach is on the bottom, and Innocent Flush is on the top.
As you can see, Innocent Flush is similar, but definitely more pink, while Precious Peach is more... peachy.

As far as staying power goes, it's not the best by itself. I like to apply cream blush and then a powder blush on top of it. I find it's about the only way that a powder blush stays put for a full 8 hour work day.
